Welcome to the International Postdoctoral Research Program (IPRP) at Saint Petersburg University of Science and Technology!

Saint Petersburg University of Science and Technology (SPBUNI) offers a formal, structured opportunity for doctoral degree holders through its International Postdoctoral Research Program (IPRP) to develop independent research experience under the mentorship of a University Supervisor within one of the University’s faculties.

The program is organized across four sequential stages (Stage I–IV) and offers two entry pathways: the Self-Proposed Program and funded Vacancies. Details of each pathway are provided under “Research Opportunities.”

The IPRP does not constitute a new degree level. Upon completion of each stage, a Certificate of Postdoctoral Research Experience is issued, not an academic degree.
