Open Postdoctoral Research

The «Open Postdoctoral Research» pathway is currently the primary, active route into IPRP. Under this model:

  • The candidate develops their own research proposal, aligned with one of the University’s research areas.
  • The candidate is responsible for identifying and making initial contact with a qualified University Supervisor.
  • Funding for this pathway is typically drawn from the host supervisor’s active research grant.

Once preliminary agreement from the supervisor is obtained, the candidate may begin the formal application process (see «Postdoctoral Admissions«).
